Wanton is a celebration of the beautifully uncontained.

Born of dualities — East and West, softness and edge, bashful and brazen — we live for the in-betweens.

The name comes with a twist: wanton (the English kind) is often misunderstood — but we’re reclaiming it in its original glory: wild, free-spirited, a little mischievous, and entirely unapologetic. Pair that with our Chinese namesake 顽童 (the cheeky child who does exactly as she pleases), and you’ve got the soul of our brand.

We make clothes for women who colour outside the lines — who can serve demure one day, danger the next.

Think: qipao curves, opera-drama sleeves, embroidered memories. Satin, brocade, frog buttons, sculpted collars — old souls in modern bodies. These aren’t costumes. They’re declarations.

Wanton isn’t about being perfect.
